The original purpose of Redeemed Ministries was to reach out to women in the commercial sex industry of Aruba.  As our knowledge grew about human trafficking and the commercial sex industry, out eyes were open to the problem in our own back yard.  Our primary focus is to meet the needs of victims of domestic human trafficking and sex trafficking in Houston, while impacting the larger regional and global issues of modern day slavery.

Redeemed Ministries serves the following mission:

To bring Christ's loving redemption and amazing liberation to those trapped and exploited within the commercial sex industry and/or by human trafficking for sexual exploitation or forced labor.

Redeemed was:

• Founded in 2005
• Incorporated in the State of Texas as a Non-Profit Corporation in 2007
• Filed for 501(c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service in 2008.  501(c)(3) status has been completed.

Redeemed Ministries' Board of Directors is comprised of everyday, ordinary people with a unified passion to achieve our core strategies:

EDUCATE people - Raise awareness of the existence of modern day slavery

SEEK Victims - Enter into the places of slavery to identify the enslaved.

BUILD Relationships - Foster cooperation between legislators, law enforcement, service providers, etc.

IDENTIFY  Resources - Facilitate and advocate on behalf of victims to receive aftercare.

REDEEM - Restore honor, worth, and reputation
